Secondary Schools participating in an Interscholastic Island Competetion

The female youth of the secondary schools will also be participating in a inter scholastic (islands) competition that will be held on Curacao which is organized by CUS. The female inter scholastic team is lead by Cindy Richardson-York and Marcus Levenstone. Both together with Coach Andrew Williams over last few months have been preparing the youth for this competition. The first competition that was held on St Maarten last year (2006) was won by St Maarten.
A couple of the players are playing in the local female softball competition. Players such as Kesha Royer (Ladyhawks), Tashmanalie York (Ladyhawks), Thaymira York (Ladyhawks), Letisha Flanders (Ladyhawks), Elisa Wilson (Jets), Sheridah Larmony (Angels), Raynaida Fleming (Falcons) and more have been practicing very hard for this event.

The St. Maarten Softball Association would like to wish both LIONS and the St Maarten female Youth all the best with the competition.
